This is a combined tour of epic Mountain bike and one of the best treks around the world, riding and hiking in real Inca trails through the wonder of Machu Picchu Sanctuary, you will find this amazing place surrounded by incredible landscapes and mountain scenery, entering Machu Picchu the way the Incas did, through Inti Punku (the Sun Gate) and feel the power of this enigmatic place.


Day 1 - Arrive

Arrival to Lima. Transfer from airport to our comfortable Hotel

Day 2 – Pachacamac Trails

We will pick you up from the hotel, check the bikes and head up to Pachacamac, 30 km. south from Lima. We will ride at Cardal ruins until Pueblo Viejo “the Old Village”. Ancient archeological site, then we got a climb uphill to the Chirimoyo (650 masl). Afterwards we will start a great technical descent singletrack, directly to the one of the best restaurant of the area, where we will enjoy a delicious meal.

Optional * After / Before the ride we can visit to the Pachacamac Temple, (the most important
archeological site in Lima) to know something about our historic and rich cultural past.

Day 3 – Transfer to Cuzco

At 5:00 am you have to be ready to go to the airport to take the local flight to Cuzco (50 min. aprox.). Over there we settle down in our comfortable Hotel. There we will take a rest to acclimatize ourselves with the help of our famous hot mate de coca. If you feel fine, in the afternoon we can take a short ride to check the famous fortress of Sacsayhuaman and other important sites like Tambomachay and Qenko, this great trail left us directly in the main square of Cuzco.

Day 4 – Chinchero - Moray - Maras

After a good local breakfast, we will go in direction to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Our first stop is at Chinchero. At this point we will start riding in a great single track until the Urubamba river shores. Then in the valley we will have a break for lunch before we going to our next destination Moray, a very special and powerful place with circular terraces, unique in the Inca civilization. There we will start the descent to the village of Maras. This place is well known for their ancient salt mines and breathtaking landscapes here you will find one of the fastest and smoothest trail on the Sacred Valley and have the pleasure to ride it twice, after arriving to the remote village of Pichingoto, where the little houses are carved in the stone. You can not imagine the places you were going to see. After this great day, it is time to rest in our comfortable hotel in Ollantaytambo the "living Inca town"  


Day 5 – Trekking to Machu Picchu

We transfer you to Piscaycucho. Start hiking for about 5 hours through a little visited section of the trail. We will stop at Q’oriwayrachina for lunch and then cross the Urubamba River at Q’ente, with an option to visit Wayna Q’ente and Llaqtapata archaeological sites, in whose vicinity we will camp amidst Inca terracing. (Time: 5-6 hours, Distance: 11km).

Day 6 – Llaqtapata -Llulluchapampa

Continue up the Cusichaca Valley passing houses of settlers to finally reach the Andean community of Huayllabamba. From here the trail ascends steeply to a large Pampa below the first pass, where we camp. Here we have a breathtaking view of Mt. Huayanay. Along the trail up this narrow hanging valley we begin to see a cloud forest that harbors the Queñua tree (polilepis), a rare forest to be found in the Andes. Camp will be set up at Llulluchapampa. (Time: 6 hours. Distance: 9 Kms).

Day 7  - Llulluchapampa - Phuyupatamarca

A steady ascent on an Inca Trail up to the Warmiwañusqa pass at 4,200m (13,692ft) affords a magnificent view of our ascent and the trail ahead of us. We descend on a restored Inca Trail down to the Pacaymayo River to then ascend again to the ruins of Runkuraqay and the second pass at 4,050m (13,200ft). From here we walk down to the site at Sayacmarca at 3,850m (12,551ft) on the original Inca Trail, passing a dry lake and the first signs of the cloud forest. A beautiful location overlooking the Aobamba Valley, it affords a respite for a leisurely walk through its imposing structures. Continue along the ridge through amazing landscapes, viewing Mt. Salkantay from the western side and Mt. Pumasillo, a silhouette to the north on the horizon. Walking through a rolling flag stoned trail we arrive at Phuyupatamarca (the village on the edge of the clouds) in whose vicinity we camp. (Trekking: 7-8 hours, Distance 14kms).

Day 8 – Phuyupatamarca – Machu Picchu

An early departure today will have us trekking along a buttress and passing Phuyupatamarca ruins, the flag stoned trail winds sharply down into the cloud forest to the ruins of Wiñay Wayna located below the ridge on the same water course as the previous site, it has well restored Inca Ruins. After a two hour walk through a cloud forest covered Inca Trail we arrive to Machu Picchu the way the Incas used to come, watching the magnificent citadel at our feet from Intipunku, the door of the sun. Bus ride to the Village of Machu Picchu for an overnight at a local hotel, dinner on your own.

Day 9 - Machu Picchu

The whole day can be dedicated to explore these extraordinary Inca remains, including a visit to Wayna Picchu, the hill overlooking the site, Lunch not included. The mid-afternoon train takes you back to Ollantaytambo.

Day 10 - MTB in Lares Inca Trail

Our destiny today it is considered one of the best trails in Cusco area, this ancient Inca trail start, near the 4,000 meters above sea level and finish in the town of Calca.

In the way to the Lares Valley we will stop in a local market, there you will find some art craft of the oldest textile traditions in Peru. Afterwards we will ride this old Inca trail two times, don't be surprised if you cross with some herds of Llamas and Alpacas!!!

Optional * After the ride we can make a stop in our descent to Calca and take a relaxed bath in the thermal pools of Machacancha.

Day 11 – Yuncaypata trail

The last ride of the tour will be in the "X zone" near Cusco, we will ride the Yuncaypata trail, and then we will have the afternoon free, up to you for shopping or visit some important places like Korikancha.

Day 12 - Fly back to Lima.

Pack our things and get ready for fly to Lima. End of tour.

Our guides are professional bikers with many years of experience in Mountain biking at recreational and competitive level. Local guides, who speak English, enabled in first aid, with ample knowledge of mechanics, they will bring you some tips and helpful hints for improving your skills and ride safely. Offering a great service for the passengers joy.


You must have at least a minimum of what is called "sport level fitness". You will be the engine for your trip and, although you don't need to be a mountain bike racer, the better your state of physical fitness, the more you will enjoy your trip.


This tour are designed for people in medium and good physical training conditions, 99% of our tours are developed in Single tracks, any ride even an easy one will be enjoyed more if you are in good physical training conditions.

    Level 2 (Intermediate):

For the rider who is comfortable with most of the trails and ready to find more! Riders in this level     shouldn't have too many problems with steep terrain, roots, rocks, and stunts, but are looking to fine tune the skills     necessary to ride smoothly and with a flow. You will be introduced to harder trails in challenging terrain.

    People with experience riding technical single tracks, with long uphill sections and steep downhill, who ride often 1 or     more times in a week.
